Getting closer to that final!

And NEWTs

[Ravenclaws]
So I know we were saying having a last sort of get-together this Hogsmeade weekend. Would lunch suit everyone? If all of you have plans, no need to break them, I just thought it would be a good opportunity, outside of the castle.

It's a shame the finals are ages away. I'm looking forward to the Harpies winning. Though we wouldn't be able to see most of the game anyway as we'll be sitting for our exams. Then again, I imagine they're already completely sold out, even if I could afford it.

Hogsmeade can't come soon enough, I've almost run out of sugar quills and revising is just not the same without them. And if one more person tries to steal

[Ravenclaw Team]
How's everyone for an extra couple of hours a week until the match? I know we've been doing well, and the drills are down pat, but I'd rather we put in the extra hours, leave nothing to chance.

[Mikey]
Can we meet before dinner today to work on the potions assignment? I was hoping we could finish before the weekend so we have enough time to revise and work on other assignments. Have you had a chance to .

Ravenclaw and Harpies in the finals?! This year couldn't possibly get any better!

And I can't sleep. I wish the library were open at this time of night, would save me from having to worry about waking up everyone. Not that they can see the light, but everything sounds so much louder and amplified in the middle of the night.

It's been a busy few weeks as everyone else has mentioned. Haven't even had time to write in here since our return from Easter holidays. It went well enough, got out of the house a bit to watch a brilliant game with a good mate, though that all feels like ages ago now. Still, I suppose there's not much left to the year. I'm sure we'll start revising in class soon enough, though I can't help but spend much time in the library, well other than the pitch. Just a shame we haven't a game left. We should have killed it

40 days 4 hours and 12 minutes.

I've sent inquiry owls to St. Mungo's, received all of the informational documentation and have reviewed the statistics, requirements and publications on the previous training programme. If I maintain my progress, it's highly unlikely that they would turn me down, but I can't help but want to ward against every possible eventuality. It's absurd, I know, but the closer we get, the more nervous I'm getting.

I'll be prepared, I know I will, and then I'll get to wait months until I find out for certain. Merlin.

As delicious as chocolate Easter eggs are, there's nothing better than coloured Easter eggs and tree. Not sure why us Brits haven't really picked up on it, but it's quite fun. Especially when you get to smash them a few days later. Granted, I have absolutely no artistic ability whatsoever, but it's fun.

Not that I'm going to give up my chocolate Eggs, the bigger the better, I say! But add to that chocolate bunnies, cake, and you've got a sugar coma in the making. Which definitely makes this one of the better holidays!

Back at home now, and the holiday's off to a good start.

It's been a good weekend, sunny and spent some time outside enjoying the rare sunshine before mum ushered me inside for tea. Granted, it's not summer weather, but hopefully that won't be too far off. Just wish it didn't mean a two week break from the pitch.

I hope everyone else is having a good holiday thus far.

Just finished my last class before holidays and I'm a little relieved. Of course, I do intend on spending most of tomorrow and Saturday revising, and finishing up the assignments for when we get back, but there is almost a sense of the upcoming holidays. that probably makes no sense

I'm heading home, of course, and probably spending most of it looking after my siblings. Mum and dad can't take time off, other than Easter, though we'll likely go somewhere over the summer. The twins still have a few mates in the village so I'm hoping they'll get out a bit, and Daniel's already made a few plans so I'm looking forward to it, in a way. At least the weather's started to turn, might spend some of my afternoons out in the garden.

YES!

Go Harpies!

Keeping my fingers crossed for Wednesday's game, but at leas things are turning around.

In a very good mood all of a sudden, and I think I'll take advantage. Heading out to the pitch for the afternoon, if anyone wants to join me, I'll be the one up in the air doing amazing feats.

That was a very lovely weekend. Nice and warm, well relatively warm. At least it was nice enough to be able to enjoy a few hours out on the pitch.

Received an owl from my mum this morning in response to the Mother's Day flowers my siblings and I sent her this weekend. She seemed happy enough, but she's now asked us to send her a photo. Apparently she doesn't have enough of them in the house of the four of us. I don't have a camera, so if anyone would be kind enough to let us borrow one, I'd be really grateful.

It's been one of those months, I think. Not that last month was that much better, though we are nearing the end of the school year and it starting to show.

Of course there's Easter holidays in a few weeks, and it'll be nice to go home for a few days. I would have liked to stay, but mum's insisting we all come home. I can't understand why, I'll be leaving Hogwarts just a few months later, and I could use the extra time to revise. Still, I do enjoy Easter at home. And the chocolates are fab.

Brilliant day so far, it was just a shame to see it end.

Still, at least we got to have a few hours of fun, and a bit of a change to the usual hopping from shop to shop. Spent most of my time at the different booths, though I didn't really take much part, fun as it might have been to see people end up underwater.

I think I may be going mad.

In an effort to keep my mind off things, I thought I’d get started on some of the books I’d gotten for my birthday. It’s mum’s day off, which means she can't just leave me alone; so she said I should be studying; annoying, but I thought I’d go back to Charms, get started on next term. Well, mum is mental and suddenly insisted I should be helping out around the house. Not just regular cleaning, but deep cleaning that requires loads of scrubbing and that takes like 15 hours to complete. And apparently it needed to be done in two hours. Honestly, I do not understand the need to have the place completely spotless when family isn’t even coming over for a couple of weeks. It’s not even Christmas yet!

Which, of course, resulted in a massive row; loads of screaming and me wishing I could bloody well move out already.

So, in a fit of irritation, I decided to start looking at flats near Diagon Alley, and in all honesty, I almost had a heart attack. Well over 200 Galleons a month to let a studio! Unless I’m calculating it wrong, that’s completely ridiculous. Never mind how much a 1 bed flat must be; and when you consider the deposit has got to be massive; it’s a wonder anyone can move before they’re 30! Or you’ve got half a dozen flatmates. I’m sure you could let a five-bedroom house around here for that. Just as well, I rather like it up North, thanks.

I still want to move though.

I hope everyone made it home okay last night.

Michael and I are fine, apparated to mine from the Three Broomsticks last night; I'm surprised we made it actually considering everything that was imbibed. He's just gone home, following mum practically forcing a full English down him. On the bright side, she's at least a better cook than I am.
